For five days, Amsterdam was crawling with Fitzies. They toured the city by boat. They walked a lot. They biked. They paddled. They saw the Van Gogh Museum, Jake and Brian Rollerbladed in the vondelpark, where some were shocked (and some were soaked) by what the cute little boy in bronze does when you put money in the box...

They saw the house where Anne Frank hid from the Gestapo, hidden behind a door disguised as a bookcase.

They visited the Science and Technology museum and played with cool high tech toys, as well as cool low-tech toys in the Bubble Room...

They went to a village in Enkhuizen restored to what it looked like in the 18th century. The townspeople are dressed up in period costume as well, and this barber played authentic old tunes on an authentic old accordian in an authentic old barbershop. The entire gaggle of Fitzies passed on the authentic old shave and a haircut (2 bits!).

And Jake taught Brian a few computer tricks he hadn't known!

There were lots of meals and fun times where Brian wasn't allowed to play with the camera.

We had Fun being Dutch!
