Kir -- a Cherry aperitif, started off the meal. Out the window you can see the multi-level Bike Garage that's been build outside Central Station. Jim stopped counting at "thousands." Even at that capacity, it's too small and only a temporary solution. The city is digging an even bigger bike shed underground. |
| Captain Eric was our excellent pilot and tourguide. He told us he was taking his pilot's test in two weeks for the bigger boats, so we put him threw a few tight turn and low bridge tests to see what he was made of. Flying Colors. | ![]() |

Mata Hari's balcony. One of the bits of tour nuggets we never heard on the big-boat tours. Mata Hari was the famous Dutch Erotic dancer, also known as "Agent H21", who spied for both the Germans and France in World War I. |
| This Smooch (one of dozens on the trip -- these kids...) was under the "Skinny Bridge." According to legend, if two people in love kiss under this bridge, they'll stay together forever. | ![]() |
